DescriptionA beautiful vintage page by my favorite Spider-Man artist, Jazzy John Romita! Love the final panel with Spidey dramatically overlooking the scene... I bought these issues off the stand and I've always loved Gwen; I am thrilled to have a page with her so prominent on it. Finally Romita says issue 108 and 109 were his favorite books on his run, and that he 'inked like Milton Caniff, lots of blacks' on these issues, which leads me to believe the inking is more Romita than Mortellaro.Social/Sharing |

Great page but read on. Wow indeed, that is the worst excuse ever for appearing barefoot in panel one. Who would believe that one? No one is that stupid. How did more people not figure out who he was? I need to suspend my disbelief more, methinks.

Rob, John is my favorite also..I even did a work of him in his attic 1965 as I imagined his story about JRJR watching him do DD. I love that John singled this out as his favorite period. I culd spend all day in your gallery..Congrats!
