DescriptionExcited to be posting this! Won it at the Heroes Con art auction last month. It was my first time at Heroes and everyone told me the auction was a big attraction so I made it a point to attend and to maybe pick something up. Leading up to auction night I didn’t realize there was an actual area on the show floor where attendees can view artists working on their auction pieces – very cool! When I saw Sanford working on this I thought “if bidding doesn’t get too crazy, this baby’s mine!” Apparently, I didn’t think it got too crazy :)Just an awesome all around image of one of comics’ renowned dynamic duos. Great poses for both characters and you’ve gotta love the old school looks – LC might be the only dude that can pull the tiara off. The piece is big (15x20”) and wouldn’t fit my scanner so had to take a pic – colors look alright here but are truly vibrant in person. Sanford used paints, watercolors, inks, pencils, the whole nine – a real mixed media piece. He just finished up a great run on Power Man & Iron Fist – make sure to check it out if you haven’t! Great piece K, congrats again on winning it! Heroes Con and the auction was lots of fun, definitely one of the best conventions!

First, congrats on your AWESOME win! Secondly, as someone with two LC/IF pieces, I wouldn't settle for anything less than tiara for Lukes and bigass collar for Danny! The sheer size of this is great - find a wall in your home to display it proper!

You know I wasn’t nuts about Greene’s stylized work BUT this piece is fantastic! Love it and love the classic look of it. Bravo!

Some of Greene's pieces are better than others, surely, and this one definitely falls in the former category. It's really a sight in person - vibrant colors (those classic costumes lend to that!) and BIG! Thanks, Jason!

Have been a fan of Sanford's for many years. This is a beautiful piece. He captured the grit, the excitement and the scale of the two fighters. Love it!
