Description

My only description to Craig was a list of Kirby 4th World characters on the biggest sheet of drawing paper he felt comfortable with; of course, he added a few and in the process, far exceeded my already high expectations, blowing me away with this stunning work of art.

This is 100% colored pencils. No... really. I know it looks like it was airbrushed. But every single star, all the cool color gradients, 100% colored pencils. Absolutely f-ing incredible...

Meeting Craig (at a local con) to pick up this piece was super cool, what a nice guy! He mentioned that one of the visual motifs of the piece is circles, from the boom tube to all the great character bits.

By the way, this piece is flawless, not a single hint of a correction. Was published in a glossy dining/lifestyles magazine, accompanying an article about the artist.

This is huge, 28.5 x 22.5”, drawn edge to edge.

To do this and get the tones right in colored pencils is incredibly difficult espceiclly for such a detailed complex piece- aphenomenonally special piece of art.
