Description

A center piece of my collection. I was in a pitched bidding war with another collector and lost. But by some turn of events the winner bidder allowed me to buy the piece directly from the seller for the same price he won it for. It was a little more than I wanted to pay, but I knew I would regret missing the opportunity and took him up on the offer.

This is where the most effort is put in to get to a state that's ready for paint. The photo reference, light sources, and how the poses relate to each other are determined at this stage. Ross' pencils is given a lot of thought for fantasy and dead on photo realism.
