Description

In 2002 I had the pleasure of meeting with prolific Jack Kirby inker Mike Royer (a great artist in his own right) who recreated this panel from Mister Miracle # 5 Page # 10.

Mike was the subject matter of my first and only letter of comment published in Forever People # 9.

In my letter, I gushed over his work after taking over the inking chores from Vince Colletta. I think most of us can admit that the look of all the Fourth World books changed dramatically when Jack hired him. It was too cool to meet one of my kid-hood inking heroes.

I showed Mike the published letter and we both had a laugh.

I love Big Barda and Mike did an incredible job recreating the panel.
