Killer title splash, Miki! Definitely can feel that SG is having a rough day, to say the least. Love how the title lettering is incorporated throughout. Congrats!

Fever, you see her shorts so tight
Fever, you see they're black and white
Good girl artwork is Carmine's pastiche
She tries to fly around
I see Bob Oksner brush inks are sound, yeah
Can't fight the Fever
Can't fight the Fever
Can't fight the Fever
Doc can't see her till she's foaming at the mouth
Super Girl figure big not small
Fever is the center of it all
I hope the temperature is stable
Pills try to knock her out
I put thermometer in her mouth, yeah

Wow! Knockout page 1 splash! Infantino was always so good at setting a scene and he does that beautifully here. You can almost feel Supergirl's pain! Great inks by Oskner!

Not only impressive, it's fantastic! I never read this series, but I always loved flipping through back issues of the titles I didn't collect or read just to see what I was missing and I loved Carmine Infantino's work, so this splash is very memorable to me. The piece also has an almost three dimensional quality to it. Great stuff, man!

Excellent piece! The Daring New Adventures of Supergirl splash pages like were something special. They were a great showcase for Oskner's inks (and finishes?). Oddily enough the panel pages are not really my cup of tea - go figure.
Sure glad I snagged my DNAoS #1p1 back when there was very little competition for these splash pages.

Yes, back in those days, this series was overlooked.
