DescriptionINCREDIBLE Mayo panel page from a late in the original run of Warren's Vampirella. This story is just amazing--and has it all. Nudity...detailing...action...the list goes on. Mayo's technique on this story is much more than "just" standard pen and ink or wash. He employs zip-a-tone with both aforementioned, to come up with an end result that speaks for itself. I chose to lift the overlay as the primary image, because it displays his masterful draftsmanship that much better.Social/Sharing |
