DescriptionWe’ve all been there, busy day at work, barely time for anything… but you finally get to the point where you just have to force yourself to stop and grab a bite to eat super quick. This is Spider-Man’s version of that!I really love what Maxi Dallo brings to the table, and not to pigeonhole him into one topic, but I do really love his slice of life pieces. After picking up my pre show Gunslinger Spawn commission at OAX, I couldn’t resist, I had to get a 2nd piece so I gave him the “Spider-Man buying a hot dog” prompt. Truly love what he did with it! Me too! I resisted the urge on my first request of Gunslinger Spawn, but my first thought was to get one of Spidey buying a hot dog. Once I had the first one in hand...had to then make this one happen!

A great Spidey in the big city slice of life image! Spidey is craving that salty hot dog water taste to keep up his electrolyte levels. Dallo continues to impress!

Federal regulations require superheroes get at least one 15 minute lunch break after 8 hours of consecutive heroing.

Love the motion of the feet to create the feel that he just dropped in. Maxi has such a fun vision with these pieces. Congrats!

I LOVE all the brushy ink work! So tell me, how is a hot dog most commonly dressed when asking for one in the United States? Here in Montreal, they call it "all dressed", but while that makes it sound like you're getting everything, it's actually just mustard, onions and coleslaw.

Discovering Maxi's slice of life pieces might be one of the best things to come out of OAX. Such a fun prompt and great result. Congrats on the commission!
