DescriptionA stunning Batman commission from Frank Quitely that was procured through Joseph Melchior of BritComicsArt.com.I had the chance to pick this one up directly from Joseph while at Baltimore Comic-Con. While I had seen a scan, it did not do justice to the beauty of the piece and the amount of effort Frank put into it. A unique take on the Caped Crusader! Thanks, Joseph! Awesome! So clearly Quitely stylistically, and really love those muted colors. Got a classic throwback while still feeling fresh. Congrats!

Unique take indeed. Love the colors on this. Any Quitely Batman is top notch, but this one really stands out.

A nice combination of modern (the thickness of the padding, the armor plates and narrow ears) with a throwback sensibility (the lighter tones and the insignia).

After seeing a great colored Superman commission from Quitely recently, it's great to see an equally great Batman!
