DescriptionSold by Heritage in 2021, I was overjoyed to acquire it from the winner this year.To quote the Heritage description, This is "One of the largest Doctor Doom images Kirby ever drew! This is the first Kirby Fantastic Four cover featuring Doom that we've ever offered, and we daresay the classic villain has never looked more fearsome. As if that weren't enough, you get the entire Fantastic Four team and their ally Crystal, and all of this inked by the great Joe Sinnott. One of the unquestioned highlights of this auction." Doom doesn't look fearsome, he looks happy, like a cat about to pounce, give a long winded speech and allow the heroes to beat him once again.

The power and majesty of Jack Kirby's Doctor Doom! The history of Marvel can not be told without Doom. He also figures to be pivotal in the future of Marvel.

Great cover with the FF and their iconic nemesis, and the ink contrasts between Doom and the FF reinforces the gap between them. Congrats!

Wow...I have to say, I'm pretty speechless on a number of different fronts on this one. Such a special example - no shock to see it in your collection, though!

IMHO one of the most powerful Fantastic Four covers Kirby ever drew. The composition--with the massive figure of Doom towering over the team--is sublime! A stunning addition to your world-class collection!
