This is the only piece of Eisner artwork I've seen in the gallery that still leaves me jealous. "Va va voom" hardly covers it. Always dug it, Sam, and I always will. There are other splashes that are as good as this one, but none better.

Your Toth Black Hood piece popped up on the random "Featured Comic Art" when I opened CAF. It reminded me of your collection and I had to look through your CAF. You have so many wonderful pieces, but the Aleta panel and this Eisner splash are my favorites. I recall seeing this splash page in person (Was it about 15 years ago when I last saw you in San Diego?), and it remains a memory to savor. Thanks for allowing this to refresh my memories.

This phenominal. What an incredible splash page from this legendary storyteller. Can only imagine how awesome this art is to view in person.
