Description

A commission from my good friend Paul Renaud. In January 2010 Paul told me, "I wanted to mention that someone requested a Bettie Page in space for an interior piece (pencil) and finally came back to me to change the subject. I had started on a rough for the Bettie in space, and was considering finishing it. I know you've always been a great admirer of Miss Bettie, and thought you might be interested by such a piece. Let me know what you think." A little later Paul sent me a jpg of the layout, and I told him I was indeed interested.

Paul added, "I'm seriously considering finishing this either for the portfolio or for the next sketchbook...maybe a print." Paul set the price in mid-February, and I paid him for it then.

Paul finished the piece in May, and due to the cost and complications of overseas shipping, it made its way to me in August 2010! I'm a happy camper!
