DescriptionThis is a promo piece I finished for my good buddy Daniel with PGX comic graders. He wanted this piece done to be used as a banner and flyer deal to be used and handed out at SDCC, but my recent eye troubles kept me from finishing it in time. He says he will still be using it for flyers, so if you attend the con this year, keep an eye out for these. I decided to go with Juggernaut trying to bite and tear through one of the sturdy PGX cases housing a perfect copy of X-Men #1, but finding it a little harder than he expected. His teeth are actually cracking and breaking from trying to break through the case. It doesn't look like he had much trouble destroying some "CCC" (poke at the competition) cases though. I also added a PGX 9.0 grade to his helmet! His armor looks rough, but that helmet is in great shape. All shiny and new! I thought this would make a nice little promo piece, leaving the top for any text that will be added. PGX is a great company, and I hope all you folks out there that have your comics graded will look them up and give them a try. I know that that other company might get all the press, but they don't have me working with them! lol. I will, hopefully, be doing a lot more work with PGX in the future.Also... if you are attending SDCC this year, also check out PGX for some info on a charity that Daniel is starting for abused women and children. I am going to have a special piece that I will be giving to Daniel shortly to help this charity out. I don't have all the info yet, but take a stroll over to see what PGX is all about and check out the info on this worthwhile charity. One last thing... I had the first of my four scheduled eye injections to help battle these leaking blood vessels in my eyes brought on by my Diabetes. All of the well wishes, thoughts, and prayers have been greatly appreciated and so very helpful. I am proud to be a part of this great CAF community. Also, if you are a Diabetic, or know someone who is, please get your eyes (or tell them to get theirs) checked for this problem. It is the number one cause of blindnes, but also the most treatable. I know that injections in your eye sounds awful, and I won't lie to you, it isn't fun (even though the actual experience is nothing compared to the anticipation leading up to it), but isn't a little bit of discomfort worth a lifetime of sight? God bless! Social/Sharing |

Jamie, I wish you all the best and a speedy recovery. I know how much you love to draw and it shows in your work.
