For anyone who is surprised by this latest addition, no one could be more surprised than me. I never thought I would own a nude piece BUT the uber talented Dan Brereton did a gallery update a few months ago... and my heart stood still.

Here she is, 'Nude Undead Girl' and I absolutely LOVE her!!! Exotic looks, mesmerizing eyes AND a bit of the macabre. Absolutely perfect in every way!

A simple study on watercolour paper, done in watercolours with some coloured pencil. I swear Dan is a genius because there is nothing simple about anything he does.

On an aside, my first experience with Dan's work was when I bought Rob Zombie's cd 'Hellbilly Deluxe' years ago. Dan was one of the contributing artists for the inner sleeve. Personally, I call this my 'Living Dead Girl' piece. ;)

Very nice, Holly. You can't go wrong with Dan's work. He has a style all his own. (and I LOVE it!!!)
