In the early 2000s, a Canadian builder/architect living in Niigata Prefecture, Japan at the time, whom my wife and I hired to build our house, took some of my art under the pretense of having it framed so that it would be hanging on the wall when the house was ready. However, he left Japan for Bali (it is my understanding that he has since left there as well) and I did receive most of the pieces, but three of them were never returned: JLA #30 p. 22 (the end-page splash), an Infantino/Blyberg Batman Sunday page (date unknown) and a two-page Sandman sketch featuring Morpheus and his Raven by Japanese artist, Yoshitaka Amano.
