STRIP ART - Twin Earths
Although I've never been a big Science Fiction fan, Alden McWilliams' artistic development at the start of his second decade of work on this strip during the early 60's, drew me in and I couldn't resist the allure. While I appreciate his simpler cartoony work on this strip during the 1950's, my tastes lie much more towards realism and his choice to veer towards a more illustrative approach reminiscent of the great Al Williamson during this period is where I feel he produced his best work and it is dailies from this period that I strictly collect.
