My First Comics
One goal that I set for myself starting in 2023 is to obtain a page of original art from each of my comic book firsts from when I was a kid. In other words, a page from the first comic book that I ever bought, a page from my first Avengers issue, a page from my first DC comic book, a page from my first MAD, etc. Each piece of art in this gallery takes me back to the moment in my childhood when I first read the book in which it appeared, and I get to enjoy again for a brief moment the excitement and joy that I felt when I first read those books so long ago.
