DescriptionI wanted to save this cover for a special occasion, and since today is my 60th birthday, I thought it was a good time!Now, Hulkette made her first cover appearance in the New Champions variant cover for Sensational She-Hulk #1 (Oct 2023), drawn by artist Mirka Andolfo. But she did not appear in the interior pages of the issue. Her OFFICIAL comic debut was a year later in this issue of Spider-Boy #13, where she appeared for the very first time in story as she faced off against Spider-Boy and Daredevil, and her journey began to unfold in the New Champions series that came out later on. This issue of Spider-By #13 also included a special 4-page origin story for Spider-Girl, who appeared for the first time in the previous issue #12. I'm very excited to own this piece of Marvel history, and also to have my very first Mark Bagley Spider-Boy cover. I was fortunate enough to pick up Spider-Boy's very first appearance splash from Spider-Man #7 (2023), also drawn by the great Mark Bagley. Thanks for the shout out! I was having a big birthday bash zoom at the time, but I will watch on rewind. And regarding a Hulkette vs Smurfette issue, don't go giving Marvel any more crazy ideas (though of course I LOVE that idea, and I WOULD buy the cover). So ... until Hulkette becomes a Radio City Rockette, Make Mine Marvel!

I think I remember what it was like to be 60. Ah, the good old days. Anyway, congratulations on your milestone birthday and reaching your Golden Years. Haha! Now it's just a countdown to those Social Security checks. For me, it's really the only way I can afford to buy art these days. Haha! Happy, happy, birthday my friend. I wish you many more to come.
