Best Calf, Ankle, & Foot themed cover posted to CAF all year, perhaps ever! CAF Best of 2025 Award incoming (surely there will be a new category just for this theme!). Nice to see this vintage Kaiju-adjacent Joe Kubert cover added to your collection :)

Fun, crazy cover! What the creature looks like above the calf and knee is UNKNOWN! Thank you for introducing this title to me. Outer Limits of the 1960s had an episode called "Don't Open Till Doomsday" with a different plot.

You can all have a deserved laugh about it, but in all seriousness, those ARE INDEED some beautifully rendered calves! Beautiful lines by the legendary Joe Kubert!

So very cool!!! I love DC 70s horror...and Kubert was the perfect choice to render this cover!

Well this was only a 25 cents comic, which means you could gotten this plus a lot more for a dollar!

Well toned! The alien has been training on his Peleton. Less of these Joe Kubert sci-fi title covers seen on the market than war covers.

What an incredible cover. It's got style and tension AND tells part of a story for the reader to be engaged in.
