Description

An absolutely stunning early page from the Red Sonja canon by Spanish master Esteban Maroto with inks by Neal Adams and Ernie Chua (Chan). Originally published in Savage Sword of Conan #1 and later reprinted in color in Marvel Feature v. 2 #1, which was one of the very, very first comic books I ever read.

Neal Adams has done at least one recreation of his money shot of Sonja in that last panel.

In hindsight, I regret not buying this- held it in my hands in SD in the late 90's, and Mitch talked me out of it. "It's over-priced!"
