DescriptionAn advertisement appeared about the possibility of Frank Miller and Roger Stern working together on Doctor Strange, alas it was not to be. Frank Miller's only actual contribution to Doctor Strange was the cover for Doctor Strange #46 (April 1981)I could not resist getting a "Photographic copy" of this advertisement's original art to contemplate what never happened. Love these classic promo ads! Awesome Doc Strange here by FM and love that classic lettering at the bottom! Definitely a centerpiece of any collection! Sincere congrats!

Fantastic piece! I remember waiting in anticipation for that comic to appear, but it didn't happen... But there was a compensation of sorts: for (more than) a glimpse of what could have been, a copy of Amazing Spider-Man Annual 14 should do fine... Spider-Man and Dr Strange vs Dr Doom and Dormammu! On top of a great fun story, it displays some outstanding art by Frank Miller and Tom Palmer who, in my opinion, conjure the best Steve Ditko homage ever!

That's just excellent. I would have loved to read that book. We got a taste in the ASM annual, but a run in Doctor Strange would have been epic.
