DescriptionLove on the Astral-Plane!Another love story in the X Universe that is destined for heartbreak. This page comes from Simon Spurrier’s story arc on X-Men Legacy featuring Legion as he tries to gather his mind together so he can confront the Shadow demon that has taken the face of his deceased father Charles Xavier. Blindfold does what she can to help his fractured mind, knowing that ultimately if Legion gets too strong that they are destined to be enemies instead of lovers, that she may be the only force that can stop him. In this beautifully drawn page from Khoi Pham, we see Legion professing his love to Blindfold. It’s told really well jus in seeing the art without the need for words. I really enjoy the way Legion is drawn in the astral plane, his head full of energy as an extension of all the powers/entities he keeps in his mind. Pham’s interpretation for world inside the mind of Legion is very well done and his design is superb. He comes across very hard edged and energetic, while Blindfold is very soft and contained. Blindfold has more and more become a really complex character and her fractured mind meeting with Legions really comes together for some interesting storytelling. They compliment each other so well that it’s destined for heartbreak in the drama that is X. Social/Sharing |

Pages like this make me wish I hadn't stop reading comics so long ago. Have no idea who Blindfold even is. But I love the page. And for me personally, the raw black and blue of the original is much move visually interesting than the published color page (no offense to the colorist).

Delicate lines shows the tenderness of the situation and the light blue is nice finishing touch to the original. Pham makes it very intimate with these astral plane panels on top.

Honestly clicked on the thumbnail not expecting much, but had almost the same reaction as Marcus, so I'll say "ditto"

There were some good Legion stories when they made more use of him. Great page.

This was a great storyline - the best use of Legion in the comics in my opinion. The interaction between these two characters was very well done, as evidenced by this page.
