Grendel vs Shadow #2, p. 48, an incredible splash page from the incomparable Matt Wagner.

After winning page 47 at auction I was determined (and lucky) to win this amazing second page completing the sequence from this memorable, amazing series.

What else can be said - it speaks for itself!

Ink over blue pencil and graphite on Bristol board. Signed by Matt Wagner in the lower margin. 10.5" x 15.75"

Killer. I love a completely fleshed out b&w piece where color wouldn't add anything. Pride in craftmanship. Great balance with the tilted perspective.
