Description

Action #687, Page 18. This is part of the Death of Superman/Reign of the Supermen story line. Supe's body is missing, there are four pretenders to the Superman title, Supergirl is a parallel world shape shifter who is the significant other of a Lex Luthor who looks kind of like a younger version of Smallville's Lionel Luthor.

The piece has an overlay which is black, but the notations thereon say blue, so I photoshopped it to be blue both to make it more what was intended and to show what is actually part of the overlay. Rodier signed it.

The best thing about Supergirl here (believe it or not) is that she looks like a real person, everybody in it looks like a real person and not an artist's creation.

Beautiful page from the classic storyline. When I heard this scene in the Death of Superman radio program, I could just picture Jackson's work on this interaction between Lex and the naive Supergirl.

Jackson Guice's depiction of Supergirl remains one of my all time favorites and your page one of the best one's he did. Congrats !
