Any time you get a page with the shield in flight it elevates the action. Zeck places that perfectly within the middle panel. Awesome layout overall. Clenched fist ... leading into shield ... to round house recoils ... to dramatic final blow! Terrific action from one of the best Cap artists ever.

I love Joe Dragunas's work. This is a bit different for him and I enjoy it as much as his traditional style with heavier lines. Nice pickup!

People who have Lisner originals will know this, but for others who do not. The colors in the original are glorious on this one. No scan is going to capture the subtle shades you see when viewing this art.

As I said at OAX, you choose very wisely with your character choice Jerry. Picking something to allow Lisner to shine. This was a major win! Congratulations and thanks for sharing here on CAF.

Striking work on this page with exceptional use of lighting! Bolton created a standout series. Perhaps one of the few times I could prefer the original art to not contain the word balloons? Would not want any of this covered up.

This is fabulous. It hits the top of the scale on both comic history and artistic talent. The type of piece which is a standout in any collection. Byrne/Austin/Claremont are special to so many of us here. I saw this and went straight back to when I read this book in 1979.

A priviledge to have this gem available for us to enjoy here on CAF!
