Love this one. I remember when Joe was working on this series and came to Atlanta for a show with several pages-all astonishing in their detail and color sense. Of course this cover is a fine example

It's likely this one was at least partially ghosted by Ed's assistant Tom Hill who was a superior animal artist and did a lot of the heavy lifting for Dodd in this period (which is when I read it regularly in my hometown paper) Jack Elrod, who was also helping Ed and eventually took over the strip had a chunkier one weight than Tom Hill.

Ooh, very cool snd I don't think I've ever seen it before! 

Great group of pages Shannon. The double Tim combo here really was a sympatico mix of pencils and inks and I wish we had seen more of it even though I like when Truman inks himself too. Bradstreet cleans up his lines just a little more, but only slightly, leaving just a little less of the "rougher" ink line I'm used to seeing when Tim inks himself but still keeping it close enough not to overpower the pencils.  

Love it! Jack is awesome as usual and it sadly reminds me of my own exploits in gardening!
