Description

This is one of the 10 preliminary illustrations that Paolo Mottura realized (with pastels) for the Moby Dick Disney parody that he illustrated and was published in Topolino (Mickey Mouse) magazine #3003-3004.

These illustrations were shown in Albissola Comics, May 2013.

This is no. 1 of 10.

Published in Disney Time 63.

This scene is not actually in the story, but easily could have been there and really captures the atmosphere.

A true gem.

It's really amazing what he's able to do with pastels... Great details and I love the image on the background with Uncle Scrooge/Achab as Uncle Sam!
