Another museum quality piece added to your amazing collection!
Well, that guy is lying. Dracula escaped the fire cross. Wish I had something thisnice by that fantastic art team.
Kane could really do it all and produced some exceptional horror covers for Marvel, including this one.
And Palmer brought an homogeneity between the cover and the (Colan) content here. Those vampire hunters really look like they could have been drawn by Gene.
One of the greatest cover artists of all time and a personal favorite. As a kid, the very first artist whose art I could spot without looking at the name. Magnificent piece!
The brilliance of Kane's layout is enhanced by the refinement and rhythm of Palmer's flowing inks. What a wonderful combination!
Poor Gladys and Corker, gone much to soon,
Really great looking piece.
Absolute classic!
Crazy Awesome Cover ! This is a great one..
Absolutely wonderful and just chock full of drama. Doesn't get much better than this!
Pure vintage awesomeness! And just a classic vampire image, let alone featuring the Count himself. Awesome mix of a splash with storytelling, and the pure illustration is of course tops! Congrats!
Love it!
I need both a fantastic TOD cover by Kane just like this one and a "nightly repast" like Drac's in my life!
Truly everything you want right here!
Lovely cover
Museum quality indeed. Bricks. Lady. Neck! I'm on fire!!!! Congrats Bill!
Wow! This is before my time (in terms of my collecting interest) but this looks awesome!
Gil Kane, as usual, provides a great composition. But from what I've seen of the title, Tom Palmer's influence on this cover and his inks through the entire series really held the whole thing together.
This has always been one of my favourite covers of the run. As you say, Bill, this one has it all! When it comes to Dracula, setting the scene somewhere either inside or outside in front of a castle is a must in order for it to feel truly complete to me. Having him shot from so up close yet still showing around 75% of his body is fantastic. That he's running from vampire killers with a damsel in distress in tow just serves to heighten the tension and excitement. A brilliant piece. I doff my cap to you, sir.
The perfect ToD cover. Well done Bill and thanks so much for sharing!
The Fire Cross! Why does it burn so? Oh, right...Man, two killer covers in a row. This is excellent Kane/Palmer work. Crazy amount of detail. An excellent find. Huge congrats!
The Drama is just heart pounding on this cover ! Another super piece bill, congrats !
So I'm really excited about this cover!!!
Isn't that always the way? You're trying to enjoy a nice dinner, and someone always has to ruin it by aiming a fire cross right at your heart. Another absolutely fantastic addition to your collection!! Congrats, Bill!!
A classic that shows how Gil Kane's covers during the 70's were highly dynamic and presented in the most tension filled manner. The fear of the lady is even greater than what is shown on Dracula's face! Very confident Palmer flowing inks throughout. He leaves the lady's right elbow open and Drac's left side of his cloak open as the image is that strong within the entire composition.
Don't you hate it when religious fanatics ruin some quality one-on-one time with your girl?
It may be bronze age, but this is pure gold. Enjoy!
Ultra-classic composition, but so well-executed! Kane and Palmer created an instant masterpiece!
Fist time seeing this- great stuf!!!
When it came to cover design, Gil Kane was in a league of his own. This is amazing to see!
Dracula looks so good here! Congrats!!!
Historic beauty. Congrats.
DAMN GOOD!!
Superb, and flawless!
I was just thinking about the cover for this issue and wondered if the original existed!! Very cool to see it here. Congrats!!!
Another fabulous addition to you collection Bill!
When you say this one has it all, it also is a great example of the supernatural element in so many comics in that early 70's era (although obviously you could say that about this run in general). Anyway, there's a reason Kane was a top Marvel cover guy for a while. Congrats on this cover!
Nothing but winners in your gallery. Gorgeous cover!
Wow!
Classic Marvel horror 20-center!
Great piece of art by Kane and Palmer here!!!
Excellent cover by the great masters / congratulations !!!
I love these covers not just for the art, but also for the seamless integration of all the graphic and typographic elements too. Everything is designed so well. A beautiful piece of comic art! Huge congrats!
Spectacular cover Bill. Great content. Congrats!!!!

The work on hands and expressions is just masterful! Outstanding Drac cover!

Gil's dramatic staging, combined with Tom's masterful pen and brushwork make for an unbeatable comibination.

What a great Dracula Cover - very cool.
Look at that perspective, and use of shadow! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!
It does not get more epic than that, another impressive score, congrats !
There is not much that I can add to the 70 comments already posted for this incredible cover. However, I can add this - this is the type of cover layout and positioning that screamed buy me off the early 1970s comic rack for which Marvel artists were so great at creating. Another great add to your collection!
Incredible cover.
