STIRPI

"STIRPI" is one of the personal and experimental projects created by Alberto Lavoradori.

Basically, it's a sci-fi work, first published in 2012, that's a mix of many things, such as comic books, illustrated books, novel, etc.
The story is about ancestries (Stirpi, in Italian), the Antu and Surgikturian, both of them doomed by their respective obsessions with events that take place in the same territory.

The art is experimental, made of many straight lines and almost without curved ones. The alien world is made up mostly of triangles, square and diamond shapes, making it feel like abstract.

This is a pencil illustration with some black enamel paint used for the background, the latter was frequently used by Alberto in the Disney Hybrids series.
