DescriptionPicked up this Cerebus 141 p6 from Gerhard at OAX 2024 and it's a beauty and it's 99% Gerhard artwork with some Sim Cerebus in there. I love this image and even bought the inspired illustration by Gerhard as well of Cerebus with the Jaka doll, in shock, thinking that the love of his life is dead. My brain never became sophisticated enough to read Cerebus. My loss. This art is stunning. Makes me think the Adam Hughes / Gerhard piece auctioned at OAX should have gone for much more than it did.

In comic book form, this kind of work by Gerhard took the medium to a different level. Gerhard definitely deserves top billing here.
