DescriptionLately I’ve been jumping back into art collecting with both feet. I had taken a hiatus from purchasing for a while and had moved on to other interests but like all things in my collecting habits I’ve come full circle and am back to supporting the artists I love. I’ve wanted one of Jeremy Mann’s beautiful sketches for a very long time. Of course I’m on his Red Rabbit 7 email list so I receive his art directly whenever he has something new he wants to share. Every once in a while he has smaller originals that are more affordable but usually the ones I love have already sold before I see the emails. Well at the beginning of April I received one of these emails very early in the morning at a time I don’t usually check my mail. As I was perusing it and getting past the painting snippets that I know I can’t afford I came to a beautiful snippet of a woman’s torso that was so beautifully rendered I immediately thought to myself “This is going to be the piece by Jeremy that I’m adding to my collection if it is still available and in my price range.” I quickly scrolled to the bottom of the email to get to his shop link and pulled up the pdf of the currently available originals. Much to my surprise this stunning piece was still available so without any hesitation I added it to my cart and quickly checked out.For me this is one of those pieces that was love at first sight. This beautiful piece is from a pose that Jeremy captured of Elilith Noir. I simply love how soft and delicate this drawing is. The way he used the harder line work mixed with finer lines and that beautiful subtle shading is something to inspire. You can just tell he has taken years to finesse his craft. For me this piece has all of the right details in all of the right places. One thing I really wanted in a piece by Jeremy was a lovely portrait and Elilith was the perfect subject. Her expression is so sublime and I absolutely adore her pose. The beautiful curving of her torso and the way she’s resting her hands for the pose is just so stunning. I had wanted one of Jeremy’s pieces for so long and I’m absolutely thrilled to finally have the perfect piece for me in my collection. Size 6 x 8” Social/Sharing |

Great little package! The pencils are so fine it almost looks like watercolor at first glance. A nice breakdown of anatomy posed to provide thought and mood.
