Description

Okay, this is the first of a few transitional pages in this book, and as such might be overlooked by some. So permit me a second or two to gush. I've always LOVED the first panel on this page, if only for the sense of scale it gives the whole story. Karza's command cruiser hovers high over the battlefield, rebels looking up in anticipation of the coming battle.

Note the deep black of the billowing, oily warclouds, with only a little space left under each for dramatic underlighting. Simple. Epic.

And check out the detail laid into the faces of the 'background' characters.
