Description
Anyone spot the spelling error on this page?

My first view of the Golden version of Baron Karza and the Micronauts was this page. Was blown away by this earlier take on the Baron (little suspecting at the time that the design of the villain had itself been morphing quite a bit in the book's first year). Elegant and epic, Kirby-inspired in both vocabulary and body language. Particularly impressed with the simple solutions to the artistic challenges encountered whenever 'reflective black armor' has to be rendered.

Am still impressed by the attention to -space- in this page. Compare this page to the first, you'll see where the pilots are stationed in the ship, a little lower than the Baron himself, in their own little 'bubble'. Golden knew what the internal layout of the Baron's command cruiser was, and stuck to it from panel to panel, not only in this book but in the previous issues.

Congratulations on assembling the entire book! I fondly remember buying these issues off the stands and you have a great one; I love the 2nd and 4th panels in particular on this page.
