Description

This piece arrived without any explanation as to what its pedigree or history might be.

Based on the official Marvel Cover paper, the Butch Guice artwork, and the state of the Baron's armor, as well as his body language, I'd guess that this is a rejected cover attempt for either the back of Issue #57 or the front of Issue #58.

2020 EDIT TO ADD:

I was inspired to try to complete the cover, following-through on the content already on the available art, and knowledge of the 1983 storyline. Many MICRONAUTS fans were first introduced to Karza in his famous 'graffiti' ad in 1977, this concept seemed like a pat bookend.

The original art has not been touched, the colors were executed on a high-quality print.
