Description

This is my one John Ridgway page, just to say I have one.

I must say I was surprised to find it SO oversized, even for a British comic page. JR did this on a formal 16" x 22" rigid art board, which presented storage challenges for my one-size-fits-all collecting mindset. I might someday let this one go for the right trade offer.

Obviously, the original paste-ups were thin and, over time, have allowed the art to bleed through.

Aside from the terrific art, I love the idea of the mad scientist being let down because he was great at science, but lousy at engineering! If he'd been prepared to hire a qualified electrical contractor, he could be ruling the world by now...
