Description

One of the first pages in my collection, bought back in the early- to mid- ‘80s, so not long after it was drawn. In this issue, Captain America and Marvel Man help the Hulk to rescue Jim Wilson, whose hair has been detailed in felt tip pen, now fading sadly. Lots of blue pencil evident from Sal’s breakdowns, with a few margin notes about panel content. The top left panel of the Hulk in crush-mode seems pure Sal, so I guess that some of the breakdowns were quite detailed.

Excellent page! From the late 1978 Cap 230/Hulk 232 cross-over a favorite of mine for decades. Please ping me if ever you look to move it.
