Once on a ski trip, we were supposed to go up Villager Road.  It was late, dark and almost white-out conditions.  Came up to a street sign and had to wipe off the snow to be sure.  Yup, it was Villager Road.  We had a good time calling it V'ger Road for the rest of the time.

Looks fairly splashy to me, what a stellar piece!

Actually, shortening and compacting the bloated run time of the movie made this adaptation a better experience.  Cockrum made this just as visually interesting as that sequence in the movie without needing people to get high.
