DescriptionBaby, it's cold outside - especially when you're Phil Corrigan confronted by G-men and betrayed by the dastardly Clete Bowman! Just a fantastic wintertime Secret Agent Corrigan strip by legendary comic artist Al Williamson - perfect for this chilly January in New York City! Just love how he drew the figures through heavy snowfall in this one.My intention is to post a new piece in the first week of every month in 2026, with the vast majority being from artists, like Williamson, who have never before been represented in my CAF gallery. It is snowing right now here and I am about to take the dog out for a walk before shovelling so my affection for snow might be a bit diminished but my enthusiasm for the piece and the effect Williamson creatss is not.

I alway love when artists use white paint for snow effect. Seems simple but I don't have the hand-eye coordination for it.

Lovely choices for which lines to miss out, and the texture of the clothing is rendered superbly. Very pleasing balance to the piece.

Sublime stuff on the snow effect from Williamson, awesome daily! congrats, good kick off to the year and certainly current weather appropriate (not loving all the unexepected snowfalls already with winter barely 2 weeks old officially but ah well).

WOW...great Williamson daily! He was really focused during this era of Corrigan. The treatment of the snowstorm and inking subtleties, like that of the eyeglasses in the last panel are fantastic. Congratulations!
