Description
I've always been fond of Doc Samson for some reason. Maybe it's because he was always the underdog, always getting beaten up by the Hulk. Maybe I just liked the orange costume. Regardless, it was always fun when he'd make an occasional appearance, particularly the rare non-Hulk or solo appearances such as this one.

The story is a bit cringey in retrospect, with Doc Samson vs. his old flame Delia (AKA Delilah), but I couldn't pass up this cool page recapping Samson's origin from Hulk #141.

This is a great page!  Love the bottom panel.

It's a nice origin recap, but I like the top panel bondage against the columns just like the biblical Samson who tore them down with his strength.

Great page--love the allusion to the Biblical Samson, and the inks are stellar!
