I'm not much of a Howard fan - that character ran on a groove that completely missed me as a youth and an adult.

That said, I think the action of this particular page is just a scream. Howard, more addled than usual after a brief encounter with the Lord of Vampires, believes (incorrectly) that he's joined the ranks of the undead. He expresses his confusion by attacking a teenage cheerleader's... pom-pom.
