A great sense of lighting here. The softer watercolour effects in the background really help pick out the sharper reflections of light on the costume. Lovely image.

Incredible color and artistry!   Is some of the mixed media work on this digital, or what kind of mediums is he using for this piece?

It's watercolor and gouache. I don't believe that there's a digital component.

A Dazzler vs. Donna Summer treasury sized crossover book would have outsold Superman vs. the Amazing Spider-Man by the tens of thousands, especially if the two songstresses teamed-up in the second half of the story to fight Christopher Cross.

The realistic rendering of the sparkles in her costume...next level stuff.  Wow.  Congrats!

I heard he was knocling every commission out of the park at the convention. If this mind blowingly awesome piece is a good example of what people were talking about, I SO get it!

Yeah, Haberlin did incredible work on all of the pieces that I saw from OAX, but this one was my favorite (although I'm biased).

There are a lot of beautiful Dazzler pieces out there, but this one tops them all.  She is seriously stunning.

Thank you!  I think my eyes were ready to pop out like in a Looney Tunes cartoon when Brian Haberlin first showed it to me because I was so stunned by how beautiful it is.

It's as though he distilled the essence of every woman who drove me wild back in the 70s and put in down on paper.  I can't stop looking at her.
