Perhaps not their finest hour.

To be fair, this issue was the beginning of The Great Experiment, where Marvel dipped its toe into uncharted territory by designating three books (Ka-Zar, Moon Knight, and Micronauts) for Direct Distribution to Comic Shops only. Another instance of Micronauts trailblazing!

With that in mind, I suppose it shouldn't be a surprise to see Micronauts using up some of its Inventory material, while they got their act together. Such humble beginnings for something we take for granted now.
