Karate Kid vs. Robin by Todd Nauck and Simon Gough

Tim Drake is my favorite Robin and Todd Nauck is my favorite Robin artist. I absolutely LOVED Todd�s run on Young Justice with Peter David. That was such a fun book and they captured Tim�s personality perfectly. So Todd was my first choice when deciding on an artist for this commission. After being on his commission list for about a year my turn finally came up and Todd drew up this beauty for me. I love Robin�s cape and how aggressive he looks in this piece. Todd makes him look like a guy who could kick anyone�s butt. And Val Armorr looks pretty great himself. I love what Todd did with his belt. Anyway, a big thanks to Todd for doing this fantastic piece for me!

Honestly I think Tim could possibly beat Val. Tim has been trained by both Batman and Lady Shiva and even more importantly Tim uses his brain in fights better than anyone this side of Bruce Wayne. Val may know more fighting techniques but Tim is way smarter than him and is not afraid to fight dirty, so Val better not make any mistakes. But Val doesn�t usually make any mistakes so he SHOULD win. But will he?

This is a cmpetition that really would go the distance but I still put my money on Val. Great addition to this theme.

Val takes Tim in moments. Love Tim as Robin, but he loses and loses fast. Remember Adventure 346 and Val mopping up the place with Superboy? Great drawing though! Todd's a whiz:)

Very nice! Love Tim though I do, I think that someone who has mastered any number of alien martial arts as well as ALL the human ones would beat him in short order.

If KK > Batman (which I wouldn't concede) Batman > Tim then Tim < KK Also - Batman rules!! Nice piece though.
