Description
This is one of these stories that turned me into an avid reader of anything Conan. And by anything, I do mean comics, short stories, long stories, articles... anything about Conan.

Indeed, no Conan on that page but I am thrilled to own the title page to the first collaboration between two giants, Alcala and Buscema. Oh and yes, those inks... please, every and each Conan fan who does not like that style, just throw these pages toward me. I will gladly end your suffering and removed them from your sight!

I missed it too! This is one of my favorite plates from Buscema/Alcala SSOC. Even if Conan is not represented there. Lucky you are.

Ok, there's no Conan, but how much other stuff! Truly a virtuoso inking by the great Alfredo!

This is a nice one. Certainly better than your average Conan page.

One more and I could begin to be jealous. And please do not listen to this guy, there are other Big John afficionados who just love Alfredo inking !

Spectacular, just spectacular! What a title page - historic! And a great pitch to get any 'unwanted' Buscema/Alcala work - ha ha:)

Not just a fantastic page in and of itself, but the first ever JB/AA SSOC page - wow!  FYI it was not the first collaboration - that was a Ka-Zar #6.
