DescriptionI love the way Lee Bermejo captured the seductive yet sinister appeal of Harley Quinn in this cover. Suicide Squad: Rebirth #1 is a great example of Bermejo's work. Bermejo brings a new level of realism to the comics using a combination of pen and ink wash. Look at this cover--it's almost photorealistic. Notice how Bermejo depicts the light wrapping around Harley's torso, defining the curvature of her back. Notice the way he uses highlights to bring out little folds in her gloves and on her leggings. Notice how he uses shadow to highlight the reptilian skin of Croc. IMHO Bermejo is one of the best of the modern comic book artists.. Social/Sharing |

No doubt Lee is one of the best artists in the industry today. And this is a perfect sample of his art!

Very memorable cover. Captures an attitude that is very well suited for the Suicide Squad.
