Description

With Sal Buscema, you always got drama. Here, unknowingly the hapless Avengers are en route to a calamitous defeat at the hands of the ‘Titans Three’, and without so much as a punch thrown or a cosmic ray cast, the tension is still palpable. The Hulk is depicted as more bestial than a troop of Gorilla Grodds. The character, rendered by a precocious Sal Buscema at the start of his career, is quickly claimed by the artist as his own.
