Comic Art Fans Update 210

We run down all the popular artworks posted to CAF between August 26-September 1st, 2024, and also review highlights from sales reported from original Comic Art Dealers and Auction Houses for the same periods.

I've selected 10 auction lots this week from show sponsor Heritage Auctions current Weekly Comic Art Auction that I've chosen to feature. There is an Ultimate Spider-Man #40 cover by Mark Bagley, a Love and Rockets calendar illustration from 1991 by Jaime Hernandez, the cover to Snake Eyes #2 by Tyler Kirkham, a one page complete Star Reach story by Mike Vosburg (requires login), a Dead Boy Detectives page by Jill Thompson, a Black Orchid illustration by Tony DeZuniga, a brilliant page composition to Harley Quinn #37 by Mike Huddleston and Troy Nixey, this fun What If? #34 page by Ron Zalme, a great book illustration by Terry Oakes (one of my favorite illustrators), and lastly further proof that Werner Roth was meant to draw westerns! Something for everyone's taste in this weekly Heritage auction!
