Boom. To my inexpert eye this looks like a full collaboration between the two masters, with strong characteristics of each man. This has to be in the top ten of existing '40s covers, no?

When I got my first comic book price guide, I'd lay on my bed all evening just staring at covers like this.  Page, after page.  I never got tired of it.

This is so pretty it makes my chest hurt.  The Golden Age is right.
