PAGE THIRTY-SIX
4 panels


1 PULLBACK to a LONG-SHOT. The Homeworld Fleet, joined by the Acroyear armada is kicking tail. Detail more of this, but the real focus of the panel is on the dead squid falling towards the burnt maw on the surface of Royal Zone. The panels on this page are long and narrow, running top-to-bottom just like the first few pages of the book. A VIG of Karza at the top of the panel shows us his assumption that the 'Nauts have died w/ the living ship.


2 CLOSE IN TO a LONG-SHOT of the squid as it falls through the atmosphere of Royal Zone, turning into fried Calimari as it does so. Its tendrils are coiling up, shriveling. A VIG of Celicia at the top of the panel rebukes Karza. She warns him not to assume where it comes to the 'Nauts.


3 Splat! LONG-SHOT. The squid hits the ruined surface of first zone. Behind it looms the Body Banks. Another VIG of Karza.


4 CLOSE IN just enough to show the 'Nauts emerging from the carcass of the space squid. MEDIUM-SHOT. Huntarr is using his bio-defenses to rip them out of the smoldering flesh of the K'Lar ship w/ Fireflyte leading the way. Another VIG of Celicia. These panels are pretty narrow, so only a glimpse is necessary to transition us to...
