1 SPLASH. TEAM-SHOT of the MICRONAUTS! BUCK NAKED! They're standing knee deep in the seared and smoldering hide of the dead ship, stoic. Not even Bug has a comic comment as their hair blows dramatically in the hot breeze of their ravaged world. They're living symbols of their triumph over the K'Lar.

Another symbolic (or foreshadowing) element is the Body Banks looming behind them. Plumes of smoke are rolling out of its chimneys.

2 PULLBACK to a MEDIUM-SHOT and giving it to me in SILHOUETTE. The 'Nauts and squid are silhouette, but the devastated terrain behind them isn't. Rann is apart from the other 'Nauts as he addresses them in his closing monologue.

3 INSET MCU of Rann, grim (cut & pasted Bottom Right). He's responding to above dialog as he ends the book w/ a, "Yes, the threat of the K'Lar has been eliminated, but now we must face Baron Karza...I saw it in his mind!"
